Ultimate Kitchens just launched its first location in Hamilton

With the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic leading to numerous innovations in the food and hospitality industries, a brand new food venture has opened in Hamilton that’s the first of its kind in the city.

Ultimate Kitchens, a project by restaurant company Recipe Unlimited, just launched its first location in the Hammer at 151 York Boulevard as a hybrid of five well-known restaurants available for takeaway and delivery only.

What makes Ultimate Kitchens unique is that its single kitchen serves up the menus of five totally different food spots including massive longstanding chains like Swiss Chalet, East Side Mario’s, and Montana’s alongside smaller ones like The Burger’s Priest and Fresh Restaurants.

Toronto-based vegan classic Fresh Restaurants in particular is notable for opening its first-ever Hamilton location, serving up plant-based deliciousness in the form of nourishing tacos, wraps, salads, bowls, soups, smoothies, and more.

Similarly, The Burger’s Priest – a legendary Toronto fast food joint serving creative smash burgers and beyond – has opened its first lower city location as part of Ultimate Kitchens, with its only other existing Hamilton location on the Mountain at Upper James and Rymal.

Clearly a pandemic innovation, Ultimate Kitchens’ model is efficient, COVID-safe, and fully contactless. Each restaurant can be ordered for delivery via third-party apps like Uber Eats, or pre-ordered for pickup.

When the time comes to pick up an order, locals can simply enter Ultimate Kitchens’ small storefront and retrieve their labelled bag from a cubby on the wall.
