New mobile coffee bar Truck 44 has launched in Hamilton

Lovers of a great morning cup now have a new Hamilton spot to get their fix of the good stuff; but it may take a bit of searching to track down.

That’s because Hamilton’s latest coffee bar, Truck 44, isn’t a fixed shop at all: it’s an adorable mobile trailer that pops up at a new location in town every day to serve up exceptional drip coffee, espresso drinks, and beyond.

Owned and operated by Sydney De Marchi, Truck 44 launched officially in the city on June 12th and is named in memory of her father, who was born in 1944.

“I definitely have him to thank for my love of Sunday morning coffee and finding the joy in our everyday life,” says De Marchi in a post on social media. “With him and many others in mind, I developed my passion project.”

Since launching, the nomadic Truck 44 has made stops at Pier 4 Park, Holland Park Garden Gallery, Bayfront Park, Paterno Nurseries, and Confederation Park. An ever-changing schedule of locations will be announced via social media on a weekly basis.

Not only does Truck 44 have hot and cold coffee and espresso drinks on hand, they also serve up kombucha on rotating taps, nitro cold brew, and some small-batch mini donut deliciousness courtesy of Alyssa Lancia of the well-loved Darling Donuts.
