Finally, a much-anticipated new spot for unique Korean street food has opened its door right here in Hamilton.
Chung Chun Rice Dogs, which has numerous existing locations across Canada including several successful ones in Toronto, has opened its very first location here in The Hammer as part of Westdale Village.
I just found out they are opening a Chungchun in Hamilton tomorrow… it's all over for me š¤¤

Line-ups have already been stretching down the block for the new Hamilton location, which famously serves a Korean take on the classic corn dog by battering hot dogs with sticky rice flour, then coating them in panko bread crumbs and deep-frying them.
The result is street food heaven, with the option for each rice dog to be stuffed with cheese and finished with toppings like dried ramen noodle pieces, crispy fried potatoes, or squid ink.
Open now at 1051 King Street West in the former storefront of Buffed Nail Bar, Chung Chun Rice Dogs is already being readily embraced by Hamiltonās foodie community, and will undoubtedly remain a fixture of Westdale Village for years to come.
