The Burnt Tongue’s fourth location opens today in Dundas

Continuing their mission to take over the city one soup ladle at a time, beloved lunch spot The Burnt Tongue is opening its brand new Dundas location today, Friday December 3rd.

This marks the fourth location of the popular soup purveyor, with its flagship location on Cannon Street by James North which was subsequently followed by a location on Locke Street and, after that, a Westdale storefront that also functions as a commissary kitchen.

The new Dundas location is opening at 1019 King Street West in Downtown Dundas, taking over the storefront that most recently held the dearly departed Taylor’s Tea Room.

Its opening menu of soups, which will change seasonally, includes Burnt Tongue favourites like Creamy Tomato & Tortellini and Chili Con Carne alongside some hearty new offerings like Meat Lovers Dutch Split Pea and Smoked Turkey Pot Pie.

On top of that, The Burnt Tongue in Dundas will also offer delicious kale salads and an array of sandwiches including their famous grilled cheese, a Ham & Swiss, a roasted Portobello sandwich, and a roast beef & horseradish dip with au jus.

All that’s missing from the Dundas location is The Burnt Tongue’s legendary Belgian-style fries and their delicious homemade burgers; but thankfully, the Cannon and Locke locations have both of those in abundance.

The Burnt Tongue in Dundas is coming in hot today, Friday December 3rd, at 11 am at 1019 King Street West!
