A new sandwich shop has opened its doors in Hamilton to serve all kinds of deliciousness between bread.
Good Friends Sandwich Company recently joined the Concession Street community in a tiny storefront at 522 Concession; the former home of Pokeh’s dearly departed Hamilton Mountain location.
The new sandwichery seems to be building off of an existing flagship location out in Brantford, which has already been a favourite among locals for years.
Good Friends has a list of nearly 20 different homey, comforting sandwiches and wraps on their menu, from apple & cheese paninis to chicken parmesan to turkey clubs and pulled pork. They’ve even got some vegetarian and vegan options on hand for good measure.
A selection of homestyle soups rounds out the lineup, and if that wasn’t enough, they’ve got a list of daily non-sandwich specials like spaghetti & meatballs, lasagna, tacos, and meatloaf & scallops.
It’s not hard to see Good Friends Sandwich Company becoming a lunchtime fixture on Concession Street, so go check them out at 522 Concession and give the menu a try!
