One of Hamilton’s best spots for authentic Peruvian cuisine has made a move across town.
Peruviano, serving up both Peruvian and Italian dishes to Hamiltonians for years, recently left behind its original location at 355 Main Street East to join the bustling Locke Street community at 254 Locke Street South.
After three days of online schooling, Friday night takeout dinner from Peruviano hit the spot. Everything paired well with alcohol. I’m declaring it #hamont’s premiere destination for Peruvian cuisine 10/10.

Local food lovers will immediately recognize Peruviano’s new digs as the former home of beloved spots like playful brunch joint The Beverly and, most recent, elevated Greek eatery Souvlocke, which closed mere months ago.
Peruviano’s rangy menu is loaded with enticing dishes, with classic Italian bites like Pasta Bolognese alongside traditional Peruvian offerings like Seco de Carne, a hearty cilantro beef stew.
Situated right by other popular Locke spots like Donut Monster and Earth to Table: Bread Bar, Peruviano will undoubtedly feel right at home in a Hamilton neighbourhood that loves exceptional food!
Check them out now for takeout at 254 Locke Street South, and follow them on social media here.
