A Hamilton foodie pop-up is happening this weekend at Ottawa Market

Hamilton foodies who want to get their hands on some of the city’s best small-batch tastiness would be wise to hit up Ottawa Street North this weekend.

On Saturday, March 26th, local grocer Ottawa Market will be hosting a special pop-up featuring members of The Kitchen Collective: a co-op commissary kitchen in Hamilton that hosts numerous local food ventures.

The pop-up features a strong mix of local vendors, the first of which is Fairly Frosted Bakery, known for their vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free desserts like cakes, ice cream, brownies, and other tempting baked goods.

Then there’s Your Local Boulanger, headed by a CAP-certified French boulanger crafting European-style baked goods and beyond from baguettes to bagels, often with a mix of savoury and sweet options.

Finally, Falafela will be on hand serving up their fresh falafels, and Mamey will be offering their flavourful handmade tamales to round off the event.

These four foodie entrepreneurs represent some of Hamilton’s hidden gems, so head on over to Ottawa Market at 204 Ottawa Street North on Saturday, March 26th from 11 am to 3 pm to get your tastes!
