Popular Hamilton chicken joint opens pop-up kitchen at Collective Arts Brewing

One of Hamilton’s best foodie gems for charcoal chicken and Middle Eastern-inspired cuisine has opened a temporary pop-up kitchen at iconic craft brewery Collective Arts.

Rony’s Restaurant holds a reputation as one of Stoney Creek’s most beloved food spots, best known for their succulent, deeply flavourful chicken cooked over charcoal and served with sides like curry rice, house salad, and their famous fries that take multiple days to make per batch.

For years, Hamiltonians have begged Rony’s to open a second location more centrally in the city; and this pop-up kitchen at Collective Arts Brewing is a small step in that direction.

Taking over Collective Arts’ beergarden for the summer, Rony’s is serving up a special menu with some dishes that mark a slight departure from their usual Stoney Creek offerings, including a chicken salad sandwich, pulled beer sandwich, and a house-made hummus and veggie dish.

Served up with some of Collective Arts’ signature hazy IPAs, crushable lagers, and fruity sours, this special Rony’s residency is probably one of the tastiest collabs in town this summer.

Check ‘em out at Collective Arts Brewing at 207 Burlington Street East from Wednesday to Sunday each week, and follow Rony’s Restaurant on social media here.
