A tempting new shawarma spot just opened in Hamilton

Hamilton is a city that loves its shawarma, and locals now have a brand new spot to sink their teeth into.

Pita Land, which labels itself a ‘mid-east urban kitchen,’ recently opened its doors at 1685 Main Street West in Hamilton, in the same west-end plaza as other food spots like Baskin Robbins, Popeye’s Chicken, and Royal Spice.

The fast casual restaurant, which is known for dishes like shawarma wraps, platters, burgers, poutines, salads, and more, has more than 30 locations across the GTA in places like Toronto, Barrie, Guelph, Mississauga, and Markham.

The Main Street West location marks the first in Hamilton for Pita Land, with a second in the works for the Hamilton Mountain at 856 Upper Sherman Avenue.

Pita Land has already started off strong in Hamilton; after being open for just a month, the restaurant already holds a strong rating of 4.9 stars on Google, with dozens of locals praising them for standout shawarma and service.
