Local songwriter Alex Whorms debuts new EP

Local rising star musician Alex Whorms is celebrating the release of her new EP tomorrow night right here in Hamilton.
Whorms, a Hamilton-based singer-songwriter and pianist, will be debuting Burgundy, her sophomore effort, with an intimate celebratory concert at Hamilton’s longstanding music shop Jillard Guitars.
Not only is Whorms a prolific young composer and rising talent, but she was also the 2019 recipient of a City of Hamilton Arts Award for her work as an emerging artist in music. Her music typically marries her classical training as a pianist with a contemporary pop sensibility, and the songs on Burgundy are sure to be no exception.
Supporters of Hamilton’s up-and-coming local music talent won’t want to miss this special event!
Alex Whorms’ Burgundy EP Release Concert will be held at Jillard Guitars (62.5 Stirton Street) on September 27that 7:30pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $10 or at the door for $15.
