Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s ‘Fleabag’ is coming to Hamilton

A filmed presentation of Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s solo play Fleabag, which inspired the mega-hit BBC television series of the same title, is coming to Hamilton for a limited engagement.

On November 23rd and 24th, Hamilton’s gorgeously-renovated Playhouse Cinema will be screening the National Theatre Live’s presentation of Fleabag, a live recording of the original stage play starring the show’s writer, Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Directed for the stage by Vicky Jones, the hilarious and heartbreaking Fleabag tells the story of one woman’s journey through sex, family, friendship, love, and existential dread, and the struggle to make peace with the past and move on to the future.

The stage play, a hit in London’s West End, was recently and famously adapted to a wildly successful television series for BBC, which earned multiple Emmy Awards in 2019 including Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actress for Waller-Bridge.

Fans of the incredible TV series won’t want to miss to see this rare chance to see Fleabag from its original theatrical source material!

National Theatre Live’s Fleabag screens at the Playhouse Cinema on November 23rd at 1:45 pm and November 24th at 1:15 pm. Tickets for the screenings are already limited, so grab yours now here.
