Comedy legends virtually celebrated Hamilton-born comedian Eugene Levy after he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Newport Beach Film Festival.
A video on the Pop TV YouTube page showed stars and loved ones expressing their congratulations along with some light roasting.

Stars like Steve Martin and Martin Short appeared in the video that mostly showed Levy’s reaction to heartfelt tributes to his life work.
“You set a bar for everyone that you work with,” said Dan Levy, his son and co-creator Schitt’s Creek. “You are incredibly professional, you are incredibly kind, and you have been such a role model for me, just in terms of how to be good generally, and good at your job.”
Levy’s other family members including his daughter Sarah Levy also appeared in the video. The comedian’s onscreen kids, Annie Murphy of Schitt’s Creek and Jason Biggs of American Pie, also express their congratulations to the comedian.
