RBG After Dark returns this Halloween

The Royal Botanical Gardens’ annual Halloween party returns this year for an adult only celebration called RBG After Dark: Boos and Brews.

This 19+ event invites people to dress-up in their Halloween best for an evening of (socially distanced) music and entertainment as well as a few tricks and treats, says the RBG website.

Local craft beer will be available as visitors explore the night time views of the Royal “Boo”tanical Gardens.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, some of the usual rules have been modified to accommodate health and safety guidelines provided by the Ontario Ministry of Health.

In the past, RBG After Dark has been three hours long with guests being able to come and go as they please. However, this year there will be two separate ticketed events with a capacity of 100 people in each time block.

RBG members pre-sale started on October 6th at noon with tickets available to the public starting today, Thursday October 8th.

Comedian Cedric Newman will also be performing at designated times during each event with his show taking place outside to a max audience of 50 people.
