You can rent private screenings for your bubble at Hamilton’s Playhouse Cinema

For many, having family gather around to watch classic holiday movies is an important tradition during the Christmas period.
Due to the restrictions for movie theatres currently in place in Hamilton, the Playhouse Cinema is offering visitors a unique opportunity to rent the theatre for their social bubble in order to watch a film this December.

Rentals start at $250 for two hours with a maximum of 10 people allowed in the theatre, in line with COVID-19 regulations..
“Hamilton Public Health has confirmed that within Red – Control restrictions — since the Playhouse also is an event space — we are able to offer this service,” says the Playhouse website.
The snack bar will also be open when booking the cinema for a private physically distanced event.
Playhouse also says that all COVID-19 health and safety guidelines must be followed by visitors including wearing masks and only four people sitting together.
Time slots are still available leading up to Christmas Day, December 25th.
