Hamilton’s Staircase Theatre now offering bubble movie screenings

Restaurant and theatre combo People Under The Staircase is now offering bubble rentals of their theatre space for private gatherings.
The restaurant on Dundurn Street – which is the resurrection of The Staircase Theatre – offers vegan pub food and a premier alternative event space for live performances, music, video games, and theatre.

People can rent the theatre space for 10 people or less with a two-and-a-half hour time slot and full disinfection between screenings.
If you rent the space for a movie screening, you can choose from an extensive list of old and new movies including the Batman series, Harry Potter series, Beavis and Butthead series, and the Scream series.
It’s encouraged to order food for your screening beforehand, so staff can place it on a table for patrons to safely enjoy.
Food is also available for take-out and delivery if you are not renting the theatre for a private event. The burgers are often praised on the depths of local social media pages as well as some enticing appetizers items.
