Supercrawl announces spring lineup of livestream concerts

While the unmatchable thrill of a crowd gathering for live music is still a few months off at least, Hamilton’s own Supercrawl is still doing their best to bring the experience to your home through livestreaming.
After a successful selection of livestreamed concerts in 2020, Supercrawl has just announced its stacked lineup of artists – including plenty of local talent – for the Spring 2021 series; and there’s a lot to get excited about.

Running from March to May, Supercrawl’s Spring Livestream Series kicks off March 12th and 13th with Toronto rock band Danko Jones, followed by a March 25th concert featuring blues and folk musician Alfie Smith with jazz flutist Nicole Christian.
Next up on March 27th and 28th are Hamilton-based Indigenous artist Zoon and Alberta-born singer-songwriter Theo Tams, respectively, followed by a concert on April 9th jointly featuring iskwē and Tom Wilson.
April’s series continues with local hip-hop artist LTtheMonk on April 15th, with Hamilton band Basement Revolver taking the virtual stage on April 16th and Toronto punk rockers Bad Waitress performing on April 17th.
Hamilton group Athanase brings their brand of modern folk-rock to the series on April 22nd, contrasted by the more traditional folk and roots stylings of Toronto’s Jeremie Albino on April 23rd.
After that, acclaimed Juno Award-winner Serena Ryder performs on April 24th, followed by Edmonton-born musician Nuela Charles bringing her exciting blend of pop, r&b, soul, hip-hop, and jazz to the series on April 29th.
Finally, Canadian rock band Big Wreck rounds out the lineup with a show on April 30th, and one more show remains to be announced that’s currently scheduled for May 15th.
This head-spinning amount of Canadian talent will perform at Hamilton’s own Bridgeworks venue where they will be livestreamed in high quality through Vimeo for ticketholders to enjoy from home.
