Hamilton’s Arkells announce new date for The Rally

In a bright bit of news amid bleak times, Hamilton rockers Arkells have announced a fresh new date for their much-postponed, highly-anticipated concert event The Rally.

The Rally – which was set to enter its second year after a wildly successful 2018 launch – was originally scheduled for June 20th, 2020 at Tim Hortons Field; though, of course, the COVID-19 pandemic changed those plans considerably.

Now, as vaccine rollout progresses throughout Ontario and a sense of normalcy is expected to return later this year, Arkells have announced a brand new date for The Rally, now scheduling it for June 25th, 2022.

“We appreciate your patience and understanding with this. This show is our BABY, and we need to make sure we do it right. There are no shortcuts for putting on a show in a football field – even bringing in the staging requires months’ notice!” reads a post from Arkells on their social media.

Those who still have tickets from the original postponed Rally event will still have those tickets honoured, and ticketholders who would like a refund instead will be able to get one via Ticketmaster for the next 30 days.

This massive concert event will feature the Hamilton rockers and a bevy of special guest performers still to be announced, building on the mass success of The Rally’s inaugural year.
