Hamilton’s Arkells announce new full-length album

One of Hamilton’s most successful bands has just announced their next upcoming full-length album.

Arkells, the well-loved and award-winning rockers headed by charismatic frontman Max Kerman, dropped details on Blink Once, a full-length record stacked with 11 tracks; some brand new, and some that’ve dropped as singles over the past year.

Blink Once, which drops officially on September 30th this year, will also feature the studio versions of Arkells songs that are already known bangers.

Fans will already be familiar with tracks like Years in the Making, You Can Get It, and the summer-ready single All Roads; the latter of which came out just recently with an accompanying music video shot at Hamilton’s famous Devil’s Punchbowl.

Accompanying the album release is Arkells’ new single from the album, One Thing I Know, which also comes with a brand new video shot in a No Frills grocery store at Dufferin Mall in Toronto.

According to Kerman, the album’s title is very much inspired by the tumultuous year we’ve all collectively experienced.

Now more than ever, it seems our lives can change in the blink of an eye,” says Kerman.

“We began working on this album before the world changed and this title felt right given where we’ve collectively landed. Every day you wake up and you think you know a lot of stuff, then it turns out – you don’t.”

Blink Once comes out everywhere music is sold on September 30th. Watch the new video for One Thing I Know here.
