Plenty of film productions of all shapes and sizes have been spotted in Hamilton lately, and one particularly notable project is a new romantic comedy starring a past Disney Channel favourite.
Actor Dylan Sprouse, known best for his child star turns in Disney’s Suite Life of Zack and Cody and the spinoff Suite Life on Deck, has been spotted all over the Hammer while he stays in town at work on My Fake Boyfriend, an LGBTQ2IA+ romantic comedy from Lionsgate and BuzzFeed.

According to Deadline.com, the Rose Troche-directed romcom sees a young man played by Keiynan Lonsdale taking the advice of his best friend – played by Sprouse – and creating a fake social media boyfriend to keep away an ex-lover.
However, when Lonsdale’s character meets the actual love of his life, he’s faced with the challenges of breaking up with his fake boyfriend.
The film also stars TV favourite Sarah Hyland, best known for her work in the ensemble cast of Modern Family.
No specific release dates have been announced for My Fake Boyfriend as of yet, but Hamiltonians have been sharing their Sprouse sightings on social media as the young actor explores the city while in production.
