Supercrawl announces scaled-back outdoor festival at Bayfront Park

Get ready, Hamilton: Supercrawl is back! Well, sort of.

Hamilton’s beloved annual celebration of live music, art, food, local vendors, and more that takes over James Street North was forced to take a heartbreaking hiatus in 2020 due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In the past year and a half, Supercrawl has pivoted and adapted by offering free livestreamed concerts and a handful of scaled-back shows on top of parking garages played to limited audiences.

However, with vaccination rates climbing and a safer return to live outdoor events made more possible, Supercrawl has just announced a two-day extravaganza called On the Bay, hosted at Bayfront Park on October 8th and 9th, 2021.

The scaled-back festival features wicked lineup of talent including Tim Baker, Death From Above 1979, The Halluci Nation, Kiesza, Terra Lightfoot, Kotek, Monowhales, Willie Watson, Sapphyre Poision Drag Xtravaganza, and much more.

But that’s not all: the outdoor event will also feature a delicious range of food trucks, local vendors, and a licensed VIP seating area.

Though general admission to the event is free, Supercrawl requires all attendees to pre-register for the event on their website at Supercrawl.ca. Furthermore, all attendees must be able to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 in order to access the festival.

On the Bay, presented by Supercrawl, takes place on October 8th and 9th, 2021. Read more on their website.
