VIDEO: Here’s what it would look like to land a plane at Tim Hortons Field

Ever wondered what it would look and feel like to land an aircraft at Hamilton’s iconic Tim Hortons Field?

I mean, you probably haven’t; but nonetheless, a virtual rendering has simulated the experience in a really cool way that’s worth a look.

Created by Stadium Landings, a YouTube account which uses Microsoft Flight Simulator to create videos of aircraft flying around various landmarks and locales around the world, the video depicts a video game-style digital rendering of a plane flying over every nook and cranny of the Hamilton stadium, known best as the home of the Ticats and Forge FC.

The video shows the plane’s journey externally, but also takes on a first-person perspective to put viewers in the pilot’s seat while the plane hovers above the stands, rides low along the field, and soars through the skies high above.

It offers a unique perspective on Tim Hortons Field, albeit a virtual one, that lets you see the stadium from new angles in new ways.

Check out the video below, and follow Stadium Landings on YouTube for more!
