Comic Con is happening in Hamilton this weekend

Heads up, pop culture lovers: Comic Con is crash-landing in Hamilton this weekend for a full in-person event.

Running Saturday, September 24th to Sunday, September 25th, this year’s Hamilton Comic Con takes place at the Hamilton Warplane Heritage Museum in Mount Hope.

Featuring numerous celebrity guests, exhibitions, cosplay, photo-ops, movie cars, and contests – oh, and comics, of course – this marks the first full-scale, in-person Comic Con in Hamilton since the pandemic began.

Just some of the celebrities on site for the weekend include comic legend Dean Cain of Superman fame, Dave Foley of The Kids in the Hall, RJ Mitte of Breaking Bad, Daphne Reid of Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Tara Spencer-Nairn of Corner Gas, and wrestler Kurt Angle.

But that barely scratches the surface for a packed weekend that’s sure to be a blast for lovers of genre films, TV, comic books, wrestling, and more.
