CP Holiday Train arrives at Gage Park tonight

Canada’s most decked out holiday train is making its annual appearance in Hamilton tonight.
The train, known for its extravagant lighting, colours, and Christmas decor, will arrive to the south side of Gage Park at 7:45 pm.
Canada’s Sam Roberts Band and Jojo Mason will perform from 8:00 to 8:40 pm.
The concert and train viewing is free but all are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item as the train restocks its supplies for food banks. Items most requested are cereals, granola bars, brown rice, canned fruit and vegetables, milk powder, and canned meat.
From here, the train will continue its journey through the U.S. and into southern Saskatchewan for its final stop in Weyburn, Saskatchewan on December 16. A second train (that’s bypassing Hamilton) will go through the provinces until it reaches Port Coquitlam, BC on December 18.
