Hetta Studio Holiday Open House

When: Saturday December 15, 2018 from 9:30 am – 2 pm
Where: Hetta School of Dance and Music
Admission: Free

Join Hetta’s Studio of Dance and Music for their Holiday open House.

During the open house, be sure to enjoy the cookies, coffee and hot chocolate while playing games and doing arts and crafts. Also feel free to try a new class with the studio, such as kids Hip Hop and Ballet or Yoga for adults.

Ancaster Craft Show and Market

When: Saturday December 15, 2018 from 10 am – 3 pm
Where: Ancaster Fairgrounds
Admission: $3 per person

Looking for an incredible last minute holiday gift? Why not visit the Ancaster Craft Show and Market?

Over 200 vendors will be filling the Ancaster Fairgrounds, showcasing items such as woodwork, candles, home décor, Christmas decorations and so much more.

Preschool Puppet Playhouse

When: Saturday December 15, 2018 from 10 – 11:30 am
Where: Dundas Museum and Archives
Admission: $5 per child, adults are free

Join Studio Babette Puppet Theatre this Saturday for a fun filled morning.

There will be puppet shows, puppet making workshops, music, rhymes and sing-a-longs, all with a unique Dundas connection.

Let it Snow! Theatre Ancaster Chorus

When: Saturday December 15, 2018 from 2 – 4 pm, 8 – 10 pm
Where: The Old Firehall Arts Centre
Admission: $28 adults, $26 seniors, $12 students

Join the Theatre Ancaster Chorus this weekend for a musical evening filled with holiday favourites.

With songs like White Christmas, Winter Wonderland, Amid the Falling Snow and Sleighbells being preformed, the Theatre Ancaster Chorus is sure to put you in the festive spirit.

Paul & Luke The Science Guys

When: Saturday December 15, 2018 from 7 – 9 pm
Where: Staircase Theatre
Admission: $10 per person

Take a break from your holiday shopping and join Paul and Luke for an explosive and scientific evening of improv comedy!

Doors to this hysterical show open at 6:30 pm.

Brunch with Santa

When: Sunday December 16, 2018 at 11 am
Where: African Lion Safari
Admission: $25.99 per adult, $19.99 per child (3-12)

Looking to give the kids the gift of a festive and unforgettable morning? Why not take them to Brunch with Santa at the African Lion Safari?

The family will get to enjoy a scrumptious all you can eat brunch buffet, see the safari’s furry and feathered friends as well as meet Santa and his reindeer!

Hops and History 

When: Sunday December 16, 2018 from 12 – 4 pm
Where: Dundurn Castle
Admission: Free

Using hops from the Dundurn Castle garden, Valentino’s Restaurant has brewed a limited run of Reid’s Dundurn Ale in their very own nano brewery.

The public will be able to sample the beer at Dundurn’s Hayloft while learning about the process from the gardeners who grew the hops and meet the brewer who crafted the beer!

Children’s International Learning Centre Open House

When: Sunday December 16, 2018 from 12 – 4 pm
Where: Children’s International Learning Centre
Admission: Pay what you can

Punk Rock Flea Market

When: Sunday December 16, 2018 from 12 – 6 pm
Where: Absinthe

The ‘Punk Rock’ part of this market is the idea of embodying the DIY ethos and celebrating anything hand-made and local. Everyone is welcome including kids and dogs!

Expect food, fashion, records, collectibles, art, home decor, toys, and more! First 20 people will receive a goodie bag!

Tea and Talk

When: Sunday December 16, 2018 from 1:30 – 4:30 pm
Where: RBG Headquarters
Admission: $30 per person

Are you a tea lover? You can’t miss this unique opportunity! At Tea and Talk, you have the chance to exchange your tea experiences with other tea enthusiast, all while enjoying some excellent tea samples.

Edward Qu, Chinese tea sommelier, certified tea reviewing specialist and a tea lifestyle enthusiast, will take you on a tea journey and will encourage round table discussions on various topics around tea.
