Third Annual Yogathon

When: Saturday March 2, 2019 from 9 am – 2:30 pm
Where: Yogashala Waterdown
Admission: Donation of $5 per class encouraged

Love yoga and Mother Nature? Join Yogashala this Saturday to support their third annual yogathon. Classes of all skill levels will be held throughout the day.

Proceeds from this chakra-inspired yoga event will go to the maintenance and preservation of the Bruce Trail.

Carnegie Gallery Excursion to the AGO

When: Saturday March 2, 2019 from 9 am – 5 pm
Where: Carnegie Gallery
Admission: $67.50 for members, $75 for non-members

The Carnegie invites you to join their guided bus tour to the Art Gallery of Onario to experience Impressionism in the Age of Industry.

The price includes a luxury coach from Dundas (University Plaza) and entrance to the Impressionism Exhibition. Call 905-627-4265 to book your spot.

Greensville Optomist Winterfest

When: Saturday March 2, 2019 from 11 am – 2 pm
Where: Rosebough Park
Admission: Free

Enjoy winter fun at Rosebough Park, where the Optimist Club of Greenville hosts its annual Winterfest.

Bring your toboggan and skates, build a snowman, and enjoy the outdoors. There will be free hot dogs, hot chocolate, apple cider, and chances to win great prizes.

Incoming! Meet and Greet

When: Saturday March 2, 2019 from 2 – 5 pm
Where: Hamilton Artists Inc.
Admission: Free

Come meet artists, curators, and art workers from Hamilton’s diverse community.

Along with refreshments, there will be plenty of opportunities and activities that will help you network and make connections with members of the Hamilton arts community.

Hamilton Bulldogs vs. London Knights

When: Saturday March 2, 2019 at 4 pm
Where:
 FirstOntario Centre
Admission: $22-26, available online

The Hamilton Bulldogs are back in action this Saturday afternoon.

Facing off against the London Knights, this’ll surely be a great match! Come on down, cheer on your home team and support hockey in Hamilton.

Mother Mother

When: Saturday March 2, 2019 at 8 pm
Where: FirstOntario Concert Hall
Admission: $48-$90, tickets available online

Canadian rockers Mother Mother are stopping in Hamilton for their Dance and Cry tour.

The band will be promoting and performing songs off their seventh studio album.

Hamilton Boat, Fishing & Outdoor Show

When: Saturday March 2, 2019 and Sunday March 3, 2019 from 12 – 5 pm
Where: Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
Admission: $10-$12

The Hamilton Boat, Fishing and Outdoor Show is one of the premier regional outdoor shows in Canada. Come get inspired, get informed, be entertained and most importantly be ready to take advantage of great show deals.

This weekend’s show includes show stopping features, special attractions and hundreds of exhibits of boats, fishing, outdoor accessories and recreational power products.

Maple Syrup Festival

When: Sunday March 3, 2019 from 10 am – 4 pm
Where: Westfield Heritage Village

Discover one of Canada’s most time-honoured and tasty traditions this weekend at Westfield Heritage Village.

Explore historical and modern methods of making maple syrup, starting from the tree to ending at the table. Families

McMaster Children & Youth University Curiosity Crawl

When: Sunday March 3, 2019 from 12:30 – 4:30 pm
Where: McMaster University
Admission: $5 per child

McMaster’s Curiosity Crawl is a day for youth to question, discover and create.

Open to kids ages 7-14, the crawl features 12 hands-on workshops in science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

Hammer City Samba

When: Sunday March 3, 2019 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Where: The Sky Dragon Centre Studio
Admission: Free

Come learn to play some funky beats with Hammer City Samba.

Hammer City Samba is a community percussion band; no experience is necessary and instruments are provided. All ages are welcome.
