Hop to it, Hamilton! The Easter Bunny will be hopping around the Farmers’ Market this Saturday to celebrate this holiday season.
The Easter Bunny will be interacting and posing for pictures with guests, as well as giving away sweet treats to young visitors.
When: Saturday April 20, 2019 from 10 am – 3 pm

Enjoy a family friendly Easter activity this weekend at the Concession Street Bunny Hop.
For this year’s Bunny Hop, there will be free bunny ears available for the first 100 kids that visit the Concession BIA office (534 Concession St). Along Concession Street there will be sweet treats available from the Easter Bunny, a scavenger hunt for Easter Bunny stuffies, sidewalk sales from fabulous businesses, prizes, and raffles to be won.

The Downtown Dundas BIA is proud to be hosting this year’s Easter Eggstravaganza.
To celebrate Easter, there will be in-store draws at over 70 stores, free face painting and hot apple cider at Memorial Square, free horse and trolley rides at The Collins Brewhouse, and a petting zoo at Eccles Auto Service.

Looking to add some sparkle and excitement to your weekend? Get inspired at this month’s Glitter showcase.
Glitter is a professional, curated bellydance showcase that celebrates artistry and the importance of dance. This weekend’s show is hosted by Eshe and Mahasti and will feature special guests Alyssa Nedich, Tribe Maya Fire, Invoketress, and Angela Josephine. All ages are welcome.

Teenage Head is back in Hamilton this weekend to celebrate the rerelease of their debut record.
Arguably one of the most importance pieces of Canadian Rock n’ Roll music, the ever brilliant Teenage Head debut album is once again available on vinyl courtesy of Warner Canada. Along with Teenage Head, Flesh Rag plus DJs Broken Mohawk and Run MDC will be performing. Physical copies of the record will be available for purchase.

Grab your Nerf gun and Pogs and prepare for Absinthe’s monthly 90’s Rager!
Take Cover will be playing your favourite 90’s hits all night long, plus DJ Party Jesus will be spinning the freshest tunes this side of Napster. Don’t feel like dancing? As always, 90’s Rager will also feature a SEGA corner with arcade games!

The BBC has created a masterfully animated Virtual Reality Experience using Vaughan-Thomas’ original war recordings, which vividly capture the danger of the bombing raid.
This unique cinematic experience transports visitors inside the bomber as the crew endures endless flak and a night fighter attack in their journey to the heart of Nazi-occupied Europe.
Presented in immersive Virtual Reality, this powerful experience is the closest that one can get to truly experiencing the bravery demonstrated by Bomber Command. The 14-minute experience is available for those aged 13 and up on a first come, first serve basis.

Come learn to play some funky beats with Hammer City Samba.
Hammer City Samba is a community percussion band; no experience is necessary and instruments are provided. All ages are welcome.
