Hamilton Bike Fair

When: Saturday June 15, 2019 from 10 am – 3 pm
Where: Carter Park
Admission: Free

Visit Carter Park this Saturday for the second annual Bike Fair and rodeo.

This event works to promote and advocate for a more inclusive, safe, interconnected and cycle-friendly Hamilton. Both fun and educational, this event is perfect for cyclists of all ages.

Pride Hamilton 2019

When: Saturday June 15, 2019 from 11:45 am – 6 pm
Where: Gage Park
Admission: Free

Come out to celebrate this year’s theme of Liberation with Hamilton’s Two Spirit and LGBTQIA+ community in beautiful Gage Park.

There will be over 90 local vendors, 15 live performances and the perfect opportunity to connect with your community. This is a rain or shine event!

Liquid Arts Festival

When: Saturday June 15, 2019 from 1 – 4:30 pm, 7 – 10:30 pm
Where: Collective Arts Brewing
Admission: $79.95 and up, tickets available online

Celebrate international beer, art, and music this weekend at Collective Arts Brewery’s Liquid Arts Festival.

This year’s festival will feature emerging artists and art galleries, live art, screen printing, food trucks, live music, and over 50 of the best brewers from around the world. Your ticket will provide you with open access to all the beers at the festival – please enjoy responsibly.

Ancaster Summer Sunset Market

When: Saturday June 15, 2019 from 3 – 9 pm
Where: Ancaster Fairgrounds
Admission: Free

Browse through the vendor market, grab a bite to eat and listen to the music while the summer sun goes down and the stars come out.

Forge FC vs. Valour FC

When: Saturday June 15, 2019 at 5 pm
Where: Tim Hortons Field
Admission: $28 and up, tickets available online

Cheer on Hamilton’s very own Forge FC this weekend as they take on Winnipeg’s Valour FC.

This will be Forge FC’s tenth game of the season.

Hermitage Ruins Ghost Walks

When: Saturday June 15, 2019 from 8 pm
Where: Hermitage Ruins
Admission: $15, tickets available online

Love learning about Hamilton’s ghostly history? The Hermitage Ruins ghost tour will give you all of the spooky knowledge you crave.

Being in a forest surrounded by the ruins of a haunted mansion is the perfect opportunity for telling ghost stories. On the tour, you will learn about Ancaster’s famous legends, a doomed coachman, and local places for dark rituals.

This tour welcomes all ages, but be aware that some content may be considered mature. The tour is for entertainment purposes only.

Dessert: PRIDE Edition

When: Saturday June 15, 2019 at 10 pm
Where: Absinthe
Admission: $10 

Hamilton’s sweetest and sweatiest queer dance party is back!

As always, #adamandsteve will have their sweetest Dessert go-go dancer and delectable treats for you to enjoy, so make sure you are prepared to leave with a few cavities by the end of the night. DJs Martin Leguerrier and MiMi will be spinning all night between drag performances to help you dance off that sugar high.

FlyFest 2019

When: Saturday June 15, 2019 and Sunday June 16, 2019 from 9 am – 5 pm
Where: Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
Admission: $15 and up

This Father’s Day weekend, bring Dad and the whole family to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum for a day of fun and flying.

Many of the museum’s vintage aircrafts will be flown throughout both days. The museum will be offering discounted aircraft rides; the rides are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Burlington Sound of Music Festival

When: Saturday June 15, 2019 from 1 – 11 pm and Sunday June 16, 2019 from 1 – 5 pm
Where: Spencer Smith Park
Admission: Free

Burlington Sound of Musical Festival is Canada’s largest free music festival.

The festival showcases an eclectic combination of new and emerging artists, past favourites and some of today’s most popular performers. Some of this year’s headliners include Bush, Bedouin Soundclash, and Monster Truck!

Father’s Day Bike & Brewery Ride

When: Sunday June 16, 2019 from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm
Where: Freewheel Cycle
Admission: $30, registration required

What better way to celebrate Dad than to explore West Hamilton’s local breweries by bike?

On Father’s Day, grab your Dad and join the leisurely ride to Grain & Grit, Fairweather, and Grupetto. To participate in this event, a helmet and a bell or horn is mandatory. Further details available on registration page. This is a 19+ event.

Father’s Day Fort Building

When: Sunday June 16, 2019 from 11 am – 1 pm
Where: Shawn & Ed Brewing Co
Admission: $5 at the door, pre-register here

Looking for ways to think outside the box this Father’s Day? Take dad to Shawn & Ed’s fort building competition.

Using cardboard, you and your family are tasked with making the best fort ever! Building kits – including scissors, duct tape, markers, and string – will be provided at the door.
