Forge FC vs. Valour FC

When: Saturday June 15, 2019 at 4 pm
Where: Tim Hortons Field
Admission: $28 and up, tickets available online

Cheer on Hamilton’s very own Forge FC this weekend as they take on Winnipeg’s Valour FC. Come dressed in orange and support your home team!

Def Leppard

When: Saturday July 20, 2019 at 7 pm
Where: FirstOntario Centre
Admission: $70 and up, available online

Legendary British rock band Def Leppard will be in Hamilton this weekend to perform an unforgettable show.

Following the announcement of the band’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, this is a show you don’t want to miss. Melodic hard rock quintet Tesla will be opening.

Haunted City Bus Tour

When: Saturday July 20, 2019 from 8 – 11 pm
Where: Williams Fresh Café Parking Lot
Admission: $45, available online

Join Haunted Hamilton founder Spooky Steph and experience Hamilton’s most haunted locations on a luxury charter bus.

Visits on this trip include the Spirits at Dundurn Castle and Insane Asylum ghosts at Century Manor. This tour is for entertainment purposes only.

All Killer No Filler: 2000’s Tribute Night

When: Saturday July 20, 2019 at 10 pm
Where: Absinthe
Admission: $5, available online

The Absinthe’s post-Y2K tribute night continues!

Dedicated to the best in 2000’s rock, emo, and punk music, this event features a live set by Boozetown and DJ sets of all your favourite 2000’s hits! This is a 19+ event.

Hamilton Fringe Festival

When: Saturday July 20, 2019 and Sunday July 21, 2019 from 10 am – 11 pm
Where: Various Locations
Admission: $12+, available online

Accessible, playful, and engaging — the Hamilton Fringe Festival is an action-packed performance event that takes place every July.

Boasting more than 50 companies offering up musicals, dance, comedies, magic shows, dramas, and family entertainment, there are nearly 400 performances to choose from.

With all different venues, Hamilton Fringe Festival’s performance times, prices, and age restrictions vary. The festival’s full schedule is available on their website.

Hamilton Poutine Feast

When: Saturday July 20, 2019 and Sunday, July 21 from 11 am – 9 pm
Where: Gage Park
Admission: Free

There are only a few dishes that are uniquely Canadian and poutine has become this country’s unofficial comfort food. This weekend, Hamiltonians will be able to experience the best Ontario has to offer in the world of poutine.

There’ll be music, an assortment of games for the entire family, tasty treats to try and many amazing poutines to sample. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options will be available.

Downtown Hamilton Walking Tour

When: Saturday July 20, 2019 and Sunday July 21, 2019 from 3 – 4:30 pm
Where: Hamilton GO Centre
Admission: Pay what you can, registration required

Take a walk this weekend with a local history expert and native Hamiltonian to hear the unique backstory behind this aspirational city. Learn about the city’s big ideas, what became of the efforts to breathe new life into Steel Town, and where Hamilton is headed.

This tour is designed for both locals who want to learn more about their city and visitors who want to know why there’s so much buzz about Hamilton.

Historic Garden Tours at Dundurn

When: Sunday July 21, 2019 from 2 – 3 pm
Where: Dundurn National Historic Site
Admission: Free

Visit Dundurn Castle this weekend to enjoy stories and historic gardening knowledge conveyed by the Castle’s garden staff.

The tour will teach visitors what it was like for Dundurn’s Kitchen Garden staff to cater to the MacNab family 150 years ago. The garden tour is free, but admission rates will apply if you wish to visit the museum.

Hamilton Honey Badgers vs. Edmonton Stingers

When: Sunday July 21, 2019 at 4 pm
Where: FirstOntario Centre
Admission: $20 and up, available online

This Hamilton Honey Badgers are set to take on the Edmonton Stingers this Sunday in what is chalking up to be an awesome game.

Head down to FirstOntario Centre, wear your black and gold, and get ready to cheer on your home team!

Music at Fieldcote

When: Sunday July 21, 2019 from 6:30 – 9 pm
Where: Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum
Admission: Free, $5 a person as a suggested donation

Visit Fieldcote Museum this Sunday for an outdoor evening of music.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket and find a spot to settle in for the night and be entertained. This weekend’s performer will be Ari and the Alibis.
