Meet current members of the Royal Canadian Air Force at this Saturday’s Air Force Day.
At this special event, you’ll be able to see the Royal Canadian Air Force’s aircrafts up close on the ground, speak with members of the air force, as well as learn about the many roles performed by Canada’s air force today.

Cheer on Hamilton’s very own Forge FC this weekend as they take on FC Edmonton.
Come dressed in orange and support your home team!

Where: The Arboretum at Royal Botanical Gardens
Admission: $65 and up, available online
The Strumbellas, Dan Mangan, Donovan Woods, and Dizzy will play a one-off concert this Saturday at the Royal Botanical Gardens.
All concert goers with show tickets will be admitted into the Arboretum grounds from 3 pm onwards. Guests can make use of and enjoy the lands, walking trails, and waterfront access.

Admission: $15
Hammer City Roller Derby is closing out their 14th season in Hamilton this weekend with double header derby action!
The first game of the night will take place at 5 pm, followed by the second at 7 pm. Be sure to bring a chair for trackside seating!

This Hamilton Honey Badgers are set to take on the Fraser Valley Bandits this Saturday in what is chalking up to be an unforgettable game.
Head down to FirstOntario Centre, wear your black and gold, and get ready to cheer on your home team!

Hamilton Ghost Walks are back at it again to show off the dark and interesting history of a truly haunted city!
Guests will partake in a guided tour in Hamilton’s core, stopping at historic buildings such as the Royal Connaught, Right House, Hamilton Place Theatre, and the Pigott Building. Along the way, guests will learn about Hamilton’s infamous ghosts, gremlins in the bell tower of St. Paul’s, and the city’s connection to a notorious killer. This tour is for entertainment purposes only.
When: Saturday July 6, 2019 and Sunday July 7, 2019 from 9 am – 5 pm

The BBC has created a masterfully animated Virtual Reality Experience using Vaughan-Thomas’ original war recordings, which vividly capture the danger of the bombing raid.
This unique cinematic experience transports visitors inside the bomber as the crew endures endless flak and a night fighter attack in their journey to the heart of Nazi-occupied Europe.
Presented in immersive Virtual Reality, this powerful experience is the closest that one can get to truly experiencing the bravery demonstrated by Bomber Command. The 14-minute experience is available for those aged 13 and up on a first come, first serve basis.

Love checking out and supporting Hamilton’s artist community? Visit the 5th annual Hamilton Zineposium this weekend!
The Zineposium will be showcasing zines, stickers, artists’ books, comics, artists’ multiples and more. This is an accessible event; all ages are welcome.

Love flea markets but can’t find anything that fits your alternative style? Hamilton’s own Absinthe is here to fill the void with their very own punk rock flea market. With records, apparel, home décor, collectables and so much more, you’ll be sure to find something to fall in love with.
While you shop, DJ Broken Mohawk will be spinning some great tunes. There’ll be food, raffles, grab bags, and a fully supervised craft corner for the kids!

Where: Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum
Admission: Free, $5 a person as a suggested donation
Visit Fieldcote Museum this Sunday for an outdoor evening of music.
Bring a lawn chair of blanket and find a spot to settle in for the night and be entertained. This weekend’s performer will be Russell De Carle.
