Hamilton’s annual literary festival, gritLIT, has announced their fall reading series with events starting tonight.
Authors Cherie Dimanline, Ami Mckay, and M.G. Vassanji each will have readings throughout the fall. Visitors can either attend all three events with a Series Pass or buy tickets for each event individually.
The main gritLIT festival usually takes place in the spring with over 40 authors, 26 events, and 7 workshops taking place over four days. This year marked the 15th anniversary of the festival.
Since 2004, gritLIT has built a reputation with local readers to build connections and get up close to some of the biggest Canadian authors. The festival focuses on local authors to give them exposure to readers. gritLIT holds readings and themed events all year round.
