Supercrawl 2019

When: Saturday September 14, 2019 from 12 pm and Sunday September 15, 2019 from 12 pm
Where: James Street North
Admission: Free

Supercrawl is Hamilton’s premier multi-arts festival, fusing new and independent music with art installations, fashion, performance, literature, theatre, and artisanal craft. Supercrawl’s diverse multi-disciplinary program of sound, performance, visual, and media arts is staged along a pedestrian-only creative corridor in the heart of downtown.

Binbrook Fair

When: Saturday September 14, 2019 at 10 am – 10:30 pm & Sunday September 15, 2019 at 10 am – 6 pm
Where: 2600 Regional Road #56
Admission: $10 for adults, children under 12 free

Come visit Binbrook’s annual fall fair with animal exhibits, food, games, demo derby, midway and more.

Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap

When: Saturday September 14, 2019 at 7:30 pm
Where: Theatre Ancaster
Admission: $12 for students, $30 for adults, $27 for seniors. Purchase tickets online here.

Discover why The Mousetrap has kept people guessing for so long, becoming the longest running play in the history of theatre. Opening today, Friday the 13th, at the Old Firehall, join in to see if you have what it takes to outwit the murderer!

Timothy Community Festival

When: Saturday September 14, 2019 from 9 am – 2 pm
Where: Timothy Christian School
Admission: Free

Looking for something to do with the family? FREE reptile show, midway games & prizes(day passes available), face painting, and food. Artisan rooms, farmers market, flower shop, fashion, toy room, marketplace and silent auction.

Terry Fox Run

When: Sunday September 15, 2019 at 9:30 am – 2 pm
Where: Gage Park
Admission: Free

Come commemorate Terry Fox and help raise awareness and money for the Canadian athlete, humanitarian, and cancer research activist who embarked on an east to west cross-Canada run to raise money and awareness for cancer research.

Registration starts at 9:30 am. Open run will start between 10 am – 12 pm. The meeting will be near the flag pole. Parking will be available, as well as HSR accessible. Refreshments and water will be provided. This event is bike and stroller accessible. All dogs must be on a leash. This will be a 5k route!

80’s Movies With Goats

When: Saturday September 14, 2019 at 8 pm – 10:45 pm
Where: Triple C Farm

Triple C Farms are planning a special evening. Movies with goats brings you truly unique experience. They are playing the best movies of the 80’s in this series where folks bring their own chairs for the outdoor movies while their baby pygmy goats wander about cuddling and playing among the movie watchers. Bring your own beverages but please no food for the goats.

The New Talent Showcase

When: Sunday September 15, 2019 at 7 pm
Where: The Casbah

Join in cheering on new performers at Hamilton Burlesque Society’s 3rd installment of the New Talent Show Case at The Casbah!

Belly Dance and Beer

When: Sunday September 15, 2019 at 7 pm – 9pm
Where: Grain & Grit Beer Co.
Admission: $25 Purchase tickets online here.

Join belly dance instructor, Angela Josephine, in a one hour introduction to belly dance class, while enjoying a delicious beer from Grain & Grit!

The lesson will introduce you to some of the quintessential belly dance movements, including shimmies, belly rolls, chest isolations and hip accents. Class will be fun and upbeat, while challenging you to move in a new and exciting way! Those with some belly dance experience will be challenged to refine and enrich their basics. This class warmly welcomes all levels and bodies.
