Learn all about bread-making (and eating) in Hamilton this Thanksgiving

Sure, sure. Thanksgiving is for connecting with family and expressing gratitude. But let’s be real; it’s mostly about eating all of that awesome food, right?

That’s why Westfield Heritage Village is the place you should be this Thanksgiving long weekend, as they host Thanksgiving Weekend at Westfield, where visitors can (wait for it) learn all about how to make bread.

Westfield Heritage Village’s collection of historical sites, buildings, and artifacts is as beautiful as it is fascinating, and this special Thanksgiving event will dive into all sorts of traditional methods of baking warm, delicious bread, from wood stoves to hearths to bake ovens.

Guests will also be able to wander the Village’s substantial grounds and admire the Fall foliage. Sounds like the perfect family activity for the long weekend, right?

And in case you’re wondering, the answer is yes: there will be plenty of bread samples.

So gather the fam, put on your favourite scarf, save some room in your tummy for freshly baked bread, and head down for an afternoon of fun and carbs!

Thanksgiving Weekend at Westfield takes place at Westfield Heritage Village on October 13th and 14th beginning at 12:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased in person, or in advance online.
