Royal Botanical Gardens to host 5th annual Fest-of-Ales

For many people, the end of the year is packed with fun family events to celebrate the many months of holidays. However, among all the children’s activities, the Royal Botanical Gardens have tossed in a few exciting adult-oriented events including the upcoming 5th annual Fest-of-Ales.

Spanning two nights on Thursday, November 28th and Friday, November 29th, the RBG Centre will be celebrating Ontario’s craft breweries and serving up some of the best beers in the province for your sipping pleasure.

For the price of admission, visitors will get their own mug, 6 drink tokens redeemable for 5oz beer samples (with the option to buy more), and access to vendors and industry experts. With a house DJ, trains and greenhouse tours, the 19+ festival promises to be a delicious way to kick start the holiday season.

Food is also going to be available along with a cash bar and specialty mocktails for the designated drivers in your group (there are cheaper DD tickets available to purchase as well).

Fest-of-Ales is also including the option of a VIP Tour and Ticket Package, which begins with an Original Hamilton Beer Tour before the festival. The round trip starts at the RBG with a luxury bus tour accompanied by master beer sommelier Scotty Boyle. It also includes VIP tasting and food pairing, a swag bag with discounted beer coupons, and admission for the Fest-of-Ales.

Some of the local and regional breweries and cideries already announced to pour at the festival are Anderson Craft Ales, Black Oak Brewing Co., Boshkung Brewing, Caledon Hills Brewing Co., Collective Arts Brewing, Fairweather Brewing Co., Lake of Bays Brewing Co., Muskoka Brewery, Nickel Brook Brewing Co., Shawn & Ed Brewing Co., Waterloo Brewing, and West Avenue Cider.

Tickets and more information for the 5th Annual RBG Fest-of-Ales are available on their website.
