This free outdoor hip-hop festival is happening in Hamilton this weekend

An outdoor festival that calls itself the ‘home of Hamilton hip-hop’ is kicking off this weekend.

905 Fest – presented by Freedom of Speech – will be invigorating Woodlands Park in Barton Village this Sunday, August 28th from 11 am to 7 pm, featuring live music, vendors, food, and more.

Music performances taking place all afternoon include local artists like Emma Brown, Slur, Tarek Funk, Devon Bateson, El Sancho, Bella V Music, Ello Cin Daz, KP ON SAX, World Peace, and Remmorii.

The day will also feature giveaways and games, including a charity basketball competition on the park’s newly minted Rally Court.

Though 905 Fest is totally free to attend, proceeds and non-perishable food items collected throughout the festival will be donated to Living Rock Ministries in support of at-risk youth in Hamilton.

This free, family friendly outdoor event looks like a great way to wrap up the coming weekend, so go check out 905 Fest this Sunday, August 28th from 11 am to 7 pm in Woodlands Park at Barton Street and Sanford Avenue!
