Hotti Biscotti has opened in the Hamilton Farmers’ Market

Local lovers of all things sweet were undoubtedly dismayed when Hotti Biscotti, a staple bakery specializing in a wide variety of biscotti flavours, closed its bright pink storefront lining James North back in March.

The popular shop’s owner Debby Stroud cited the decision to close on James North as a response to the street’s shifting landscape as a locale leaning more towards its developing nightlife scene.

Thankfully, the closure was always intended to be one due to relocation, and though the reopening was delayed a few months amid the pandemic, Hotti Biscotti finally opened up in its brand new home within the Hamilton Farmers’ Market last week and squeezed its operations into a space less than half the size of their James North kitchen.

Located on the upper level at the prime first stand through the doors entering the market through Jackson Square, Hotti Biscotti is back to offer all of the city’s favourite biscotti flavours like Red Velvet, Banana Bread, and Skor. There are even options for the vegan and gluten-free folks who want to treat themselves.

Hotti Biscotti is also debuting some enticing new treats in their new location such as the Biscotti Poutine: a decadent dessert take on the classic Canadian dish featuring mini Cinnamon Toast Crunch biscotti topped with melted dark chocolate ganache, M&M’s, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and KitKat pieces.

If this doesn’t make you drool, you must have some pretty inactive salivary glands. Go hit up the new Hotti Biscotti and satisfy that sugar craving!

Hotti Biscotti is now open in the Hamilton Farmers’ Market during normal market hours.
