Perogie Bar has just opened on James North

If you love pierogis (and really, who doesn’t?) then you’ll be jumping for joy at the news that Hamilton’s newest pierogi spot has officially opened its doors.

Located at 54 James Street North, Perogie Bar is set to serve up all kinds of delicious pierogi goodness in its ambient, chic setting across from Hamilton City Centre. Perogie Bar joins the James North neighbourhood a few blocks down from Loaded Pierogi, which means a pub crawl-style pierogi tour is one step closer to being a heavenly reality in Hamilton.

Describing its menu selection as “traditional Eastern European food with a twist,” Perogie Bar promises modern and playful takes on those classic doughy delicacies.

Savoury and sweet options are available at Perogie Bar, with fillings ranging from potato to sauerkraut to blueberry. As for toppings, Hamilton foodies can go for something simple and classic like a dollop of sour cream and onions, or something more on the adventurous side like a lavender blueberry puree or coconut, beet, & avocado topping.

Paired with a solid selection of soups, salads, and starters, it seems like you’re pretty much guaranteed to leave Perogie Bar totally satisfied. Head on down and grab your first taste, Hamilton!
