Burlington band Walk Off The Earth is selling their studio home

One of Canada’s most successful music bands is selling the home where so many of their hit songs and viral videos were recorded.

Walk Off The Earth, a music group whose career took off from a viral cover of ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ (the video currently has over 190 million views on YouTube), is one of Canada’s great pop sensations of the past decade with their mix of original and cover songs having been heard millions of times around the globe.

And if you’ve ever wanted to own a piece of that Canadian pop culture history, now is your chance.

The main floor is covered in memorabilia including concert photos, fan art, instruments, and plaques.

The living room is particularly iconic as the orange couches can be seen in many Walk Off The Earth music videos including Old Town Road, Savage Love & Stuck To You.

The upstairs bedrooms feature acoustic panels as multiple platinum singles and records were recorded within those walls, including their hit single ‘I’ll Be There’ & their album ‘HERE WE GO!’

Mounted on the wall is the guitar used in their breakthrough cover of Somebody That I Used to Know!

The room across used to store many of their wacky instruments, and was also the backdrop to their hit cover of ‘Don’t Start Now‘ by Dua Lipa.

The basement was the studio for many of Walk Off The Earth’s music videos, including the hit cover of ‘I Don’t Care‘ & ‘Lonely‘ on their 20 string guitar!

Even the backyard has been featured in music videos, most notably their hit cover of ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It‘. The back porch has held tons of summer jam sessions over the years.

Nestled at the base of the Hamilton Escarpment, surrounded by cottage-like esthetics, this home is a perfect work-live space to entertain, create, and continue the legacy of a great homegrown band that made it big.

The house is currently listed with Lisa Milroy, Broker, at The Scott Benson Team.
