Myers Apple Farm in Hamilton is closed for full 2022 season

A popular autumn staple in Hamilton has announced that it will not open to the public at all for the 2022 season.

Myers Apple Farm has become a traditional fall stop for many Hamiltonians, who flock to the farm in droves each year to take advantage of their pick-your-own apple orchard during peak season.

The farm is known for growing a number of different delicious varietals, from Macintosh to Royal Gala to Granny Smith and many more. They also have a small shop with their own produce, pumpkins, preserves, and handmade apple cider.

However, locals will have to find another orchard to stroll this fall, with Myers Apple Farm announcing that it will not be opening for the 2022 season due to “unforeseen circumstances,” according to a vague message on their website.

Why the farm isn’t opening this year – and what that may mean for forthcoming years – remains to be seen.

See more on their website.
